Program failure

"Problem interrupted program error-free operation. Windows will close the
program and notify whether the solution exists to this problem."

After this message the program closes itself.

This happens expecially when I try to do something in Chord properties (e.g.
minimize the note) or change something in Edit general style (e.g. numering
the bars.

I have Musescore version 1.3 Windows 8.1. Hard disk 1 TB, memory 8 GB.

What is solution to this?
