Creating my own template.

How can I create my own template in MuseScore 2.0 beta 2 and save it in the "create new score" window with the other templates?

In 2.0 builds, simply save an ordinary (empty) score into your own Emplates folder - located right next to your Scores folder. See also Edit / Preferences to change the locations where MsueScore looks for things, but it isn't necessary to do that here.

I am using MuseScore version 2.0.0 on a Mac. I have created a template and stored it in the Templates folder where the rest of the MuseScore files are kept. When I create a new score, my template does not show up in the list of templates. Am I missing something? Thanks.

There is no "MuseScore version 2.0.0", only experimental prerelease builds like the two betas and the many nighly builds. There were some builds in there - I think perhaps including the second beta - that had a bug where custom templates were ignored. It is fixed in the current nightly builds.

The link in that post is the most recent *beta* version. If you want the msot recent version period - mroe recent than the beta - you ewant a "nightly" build. Just click the "Download" link at right of this page and scroll down to find the nightly builds.
