Shift start of measure
I have imported a midi file which starts with a pickup measure of 1 beat (4/4 time). MuseScore treats this as the start of the first measure, and all subsequent measures are thus shifted one beat forward.
How can I tell MuseScore to start counting measures after the first beat?

One way would be make the 1st bar a pick-up bar of 1 beat.

Create a new score in 4/4 with a 1 beat pickup. Copy the contents from your imported file and paste them into the new score. They should line up correctly now.
