Ooops!

On the page "tremolo" of the handbook (English version) there is a slight oversight
'...two normal quarter notes (quavers)...'
that should read:
...two normal quarter notes (crotchets)...'

It would be nice if the documentation could include a Tips section, All beginners probably tend to have the same problems. Here is an example.

I watched my fellow new user enter several bars without noticing that his first key press hadn't registered. He only realised what had happened when he saw that a bar ended on an unexpected rest. He was about to delete several measures and re-enter everything. I suggested the following procedure.
1. Insert the correct number of measures.
2. Enter the missing note.
3. Select and copy the original notes, and paste them after the newly entered note.
4. Delete the faulty measures.

At first I did not realise that the bottom right corner of the status bar told me the position of the cursor and also the mode.
Until I noticed the status bar, I had assumed that there were only 2 possible modes, and if one wasn't in note entry mode then one was in edit mode. I did not realise that one could be in neither mode. This might be explained in the documentation, but if I didn't notice it on my first read through then there is a good chance that others are initially equally muddled. I am still not clear what, if anything one can do when in neither Note Entry nor Edit mode.

My first impression on reading the documentation was that this software would be very easy to use. In fact I am not finding it at all easy to alter material that I have already entered. For example how exactly do I change single notes into chords, or change chords into other chords?

I do hope that the authors don't take offence at my comments. My job is to give feedback (on mathematical teaching material) and the most difficult part is to comment on material I know well. I would therefore like to document the problems I encounter while learning my first notation software. Some of them might indicate that I didn't read the documentation carefully enough, but others might show how we can improve the documentation.
