Volta Text
I would think with Style>Text>Volta I should be able the position the text within the volta assuming numbers are text. With Style>General>Hairpins,Volta,Ottave you can make most adjustment excluding the position within the volta. I know the number can be positioned with Volta Properties but I would like to see a universal setting if there is none.

Text style for voltas is in Style / Text / Volta. Or, to modify for a single volta, right click it, Line Properties, and press the "..." button next to the text.

Line that contain text work different form plain text styles, which take effect immediately. for lines containing text, the text style won't take effect immediately in lines already created - only voltas yet to be created. You need to use text properties as I described to affect existing voltas. Once you hit the "..." button, you can hit "Reset to Style" button. Or you might find it simpler to just delete and re-enter the voltas.
