How to install plugins on 2.0 in Linux

• Mar 28, 2015 - 02:55

I have the Linux install of 2.0 all working, but I tried both ~/.local/share/data/MusE/MuseScore/plugins and ~/.local/share/data/MuseScore/MuseScore2/plugins and neither made the plugin show up in the program. For reference, I want to install http://musescore.org/en/project/scales

If it hasn't been updated for 2.0, it won't work, and I I don't see any sign that that one has. But for plugins that have been updated, you need to place it in the appropriate folder - which is givne by Edit / Preferences and should default to something simpelr than the above, probably just ~/Documents/MuseScore2/Plugins - then go to Plugins / Plugin Manager and enable the plugin within MuseScore.
