Wrong Midi Translation on Mac Os X
Hello,
I'm having trouble with a simple tune where the dotted rests and notes don't appear properly. I've attached two files to show this. I wonder if anyone else has been having that problem.

If the software package in picture2 supports MusicXML, use musicXML to communicate with MuseScore.

Digital Performer doesn't support Midi XML but I went through Finale Notepad to convert mid to xml and this time it worked well. Is this a mid import bug? Funny enough the built in synth plays the note at the right point. The Piano Roll also displays the note correctly. It's the notation display that's flawed.

Feel free to attach the MIDI file.
Note: MusicXML is not Midi XML. MIDI is designed for playback. For more information on the differences between MIDI and MusicXML see: http://musescore.org/en/handbook/export
