shortcut for staccato

Can someone give me a hint about how to create a shortcut for staccato.
I didn't find it in the list when I looked at the Preferences->Shortcuts GUI.
Maybe it's there, but I also could not search in that long list either.

There is already a shortcut defined by default - Shift+S. It's listed as "Toggle staccato", because that is what it actually does (it removes staccatos alrerady present). A way of searching this list - other than typing the first letters of the first word, which does work but wouldn't have helped here - would indeed be extremely nice.
