How to set note playback value percentage in MS 2.0 ?

• May 1, 2015 - 11:36

Hello,

On version 1.3, it was possible to set the note playback value in order to get a legato or more detached playback rendering. How to do this on 2.0?

I can't find it.

The best way to do this is to simply use the articulation markings. But if you find you want to tweak further from there, you can do so using the Piano Roll editor (right click a staff to see that option).

Thanks for your reply, but either solution you suggest implies to work note after note, which is way too long.

In the previous version, one just had to select the notes involved and set playback value to the desired percentage (in Note properties if I remember correctly), and that was it.

Is it not possible any more?

Articulations can be added to as many notes at a time as you wish - simply select the notes, double click the articulation.

It is not currently possible to fine tune playback beyond that except note by note. Do keep in mind, the primary purpose of MuseScore is notation, not playback. If you desire that sort of fine tuning of playback, it is better to export to MIDI and do the work in a program that specializes in MIDI playback.
