copy paste dynamics, hairpins etc.

I know there is a lot of open issues about copy/paste. But not quite sure if this problem is already there.
When I copy bars with dynamics, hairpin (and probably many other signs), only the notes are pasted.
Example enclosed.

It's the same for any objects created from the Lines palette - which can be annoying if one has used the line to create syllable continuations within lyrics (sometimes the single dash just isn't enough)...
I'd like lines attached to bar elements to be copied along with the elements themselves.

I find that in some situations (e.g. complex ties, where a single syllable is elongated greatly or where consonants need to be accurately positioned), a single hyphen would not help the performer understand the connections between events sufficiently: -
I these circumstances, I use the horizontal line from the lines palette. This works well; my only feature request would be a way (holding down the shift key?) of constraining the line so that it could be dragged out quickly, but remained horizontal.

Have you tried using arrow keys? Shift+arrow moves it note by note as described in line .
