Playback only in staccato
In Piano, when I use the playback, no matter which notes I use, it plays back only in staccato. Just longer silences after for notes of longer duration. Any Ideas?

Using 9.5, soundfont :/data/piano1.sf2, thanks for any help

because of your question, I installed TimGM6mb , which has a much nicer sound but problem remains. Probably it is not a staccato sound, maybe it is an 8th, but all the notes of all sizes play with the 8th duration. Then the pause after the note corresponds to the size of the note.

The piano sound does decay fairly quickly. However all instrument sounds play for 87 percent of their duration in versions 0.9.5 or earlier (unless they have a tenuto marking). This changes in MuseScore 0.9.6 see New features in MuseScore 0.9.6 , "Playback".

The problem is not serious for me. This got me to enter a new voice (TimGM6mb), which I like better, so now I'll wait for 9.6. Really enjoy the program, Thanks
