Comments
You save as Midi via File -> Save as and choose MIDI file. You can also save the audio by saving to Ogg, Flac or Wav.

i tried all of those except Flac and Ogg. Thanks, i'll try those

If you want MIDI then save as MIDI. Could to describe more fully your goal, and what you want to ultimately achieve?
