Unable to open MuseScore 2.1
I am suddenly unable to open Musescore. I get a message 'MuseScore.exe has stopped working'. I have tried uninstalling the software and reinstalling - but with the same result. I'm using Windows 8.
Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks. I've tried that but I can't find any file extension for MuseScore.exe. Maybe the problem is caused by a virus. I've had Kasperky do a full scan, but that hasn't helped either. Weird.

Are you running a nightly build? If so the executable might be called nightly.exe
There is no MuseScore 2.1, do you mean 2.0.1?

Actually nightlies, at least Linux ones, claim they are 2.1.0
The linux binaries are named mscore

On Windows they claim to be 2.1 too, but are called nightly.exe...

Sorry for the confusion. I did mean the latest version. I've got MuseScore back again now but I'm too embarrassed to tell you what the problem was. Well, okay, it was because I didn't have my headphones plugged in. It seems MuseScore won't work without them.

No need to be embarrassed about, this is a bug and hopefully got fixed recently, but after 2.0.1, in 2ea45c8, maybe you feel like testing this by using a recent nightly build?
