Horizontaly spaced codas

• Dec 5, 2008 - 00:48

Hi Werner:
I'm using MS since the first windows release; I follow the great progress of your work.
I'm waiting for the multimeasure rests feature and, If may I suggest a new one.
From time to time, one needs to write a coda with several staffs untill the end, horizontaly separated 1 or 2 inches after the main score.
This will bring to player a propper coda visualization in the score, and this is a feature used in most of the commercial software.

Comments

It is possible to separate the coda using the 0.9.4 prereleases.

In the palette side bar look for the Breaks/Spacer palette. The Staff Spacer can be used to add extra space between staffs. Drag a staff spacer to the last measure of the main score. Double click on the spacer and drag the bottom end to increase its length between the main score and the coda

I didn't realize you meant a small one-measure coda on the same line. Click to select the first measure of your Coda. Then go to CreateMeasuresInsert Horizontal Frame
