Musescore 0.9.6 with Ubuntu 9.04
I am trying to find out if version 0.9.6 or 0.9.6.1 will run on Ubuntu 9.04. I have version 0.9.5 currently and for various reasons cannot upgrade Ubuntu at this time.

You could try to compile it yourself by installing a recent version of Qt from the Nokia website. See here for instructions. You could also try the package for hardy?
I don't know why you are blocked with ubuntu 9.04, but it's not a long term support release. Ubuntu will stop providing update in december 2010.
