Doing the cross staff beaming, How do I get rid of the rest?
When I do the cross staff beaming, I can not get rid of the rest at the left hand.

I just can't get rid of that rest in the middle

Simply click on it and press V.

Didn't work. I clicked on the rest and pressed V

'V' toggles between visible and invisible. If the rest is light grey color, it is invisible. If you don't want to see it at all go to the View menu and uncheck "Show Invisible".
