Less Aggressive Checking

MuseScore as it exists now checks everything you do the instant you do it for "musical correctness" -- it might be easier to deal with if we could turn that off, and run a check after we have a few measures entered. For instance, it might be nice to be able to enter five quarter notes in a 4/4 measure, with the intention that I'll come back after entering a few more measures, and change two of them to eighths. If I forget, MuseScore could remind me then, and simply flag the issue rather than making its own automatic correction. Another approach might be to let you enter notes of undefined duration, just clicking on the lines and spaces, and come back later setting the durations.

Instead of having to mess with multiple voices and invisible rests, it might be nice to be able to put a "Don't check this" label on certain measures -- sort of like adding a word to the spell check dictionary in your word processor. This would be handy for entering notes of different durations sounding simultaneously. If you copy and paste, the "Don't check" label should come along, too.

Instead of filling out the remainder of the score with rests that update as you enter notes, it might be nice to leave all that blank, just like writing on paper.

This would be great, even to make a seperate menu for the various rests so they can be a nice simple 2 clicks to select then paste, there's plenty of room on the menu bar. I waste SO much time undoing the auto complete that happens! When i am zoomed in and the auto complete happens it can shuffle so much that "where did it all go" really doesn't help my concentration much.
