No. I can't reproduce on Windows.
On 1.0 pre-release, the blue rectangle disappears on long pieces once you reach a page not on the navigator (and doesn't update either).
It's also a little difficult to simply jump to another page - can something be implemented maybe?

For reference, you can jump to next/previous page with pageUp/ pageDown on your keyboard.
