How do you tie into a second ending in musescore 2?

Currently, Im transcribing some music for a friend, and the way I'm writing it, there's a repeat that goes into a second ending, but I need the notes from the bar before it to tie into it, but I don't know how to. The most I know that ties can do in musescore is connect notes that are directly next to each other, is there a way to make a tie that goes into the second ending, past the first ending's measure?
