Sustain pedal not working on all notes
In the attached example, the first note is sustained but the others are not. How can I get all notes to be sustained?

You need to extend the pedal line properly using Shift+right as described in the Handbook under "Lines". Or simply enter it the desired length from the beginning: select the region, double click the desired palette icon. It will automatically be extended properly.
