Will the MuseScore Player play 2 or more MIDI instruments simultaneously?
If I write a score for 2 or more MIDI instruments, will MuseScore play them?

Not sure of what you mean. With MuseScore you can score for multiple instrument and MuseScore will play them with the internal synthesizer.
If you mean plugin two actual MIDI instruments to your computer like two MIDI keayboard and make them play each one a staff then no, musescore will not do that. There is a quite experimental way to ouput to one MIDI instrument.
