Missing a staff with Midi export
Hi,
I have composed a trio (3 staff lines) and a duet (2 staff lines) of music. I export to midi. When I use Digital Performer to open the midi file, top line of staff never shows up. The rest show up great. Either musescore is getting rid of the top line during export or DP is getting rid of it. Any advice? I have no clue. Thanks so much

I tried opening my midi files in a different program. Lo and behold, all lines open up. So its an issue with DP. Why it can't accurately open a midi file is weird.

MIDI contains information about how the music should be performed by not how it should look on paper. If your other program supports MusicXML then that is always a better option (for details see [[nodetitle:Export]] in the handbook).
