Percussion Notation

I'm working on a percussion (crash/suspended cymbal) part for my piece "Fanfare for a Fallen Man." https://musescore.com/user/4542276/scores/1291701

Right now, the note heads for both parts are above the staff, and right next to each other. As far as I (and most users) know, there is no way to change where a note head is displayed on the staff without changing the sound used during playback. If this could be added, I (and I'm sure many others) would greatly appreciate it.
