MIDI keyboard according version

• Dec 31, 2010 - 16:06

As described in http://musescore.org/en/node/7515#comment-27647 nightlybuild 3762M let the notes in the same chord.
But, as stated in http://musescore.org/en/node/7515#comment-27649 from 3774M it works fine.
And it goes on with 3796M.
all these under ubuntu 10.04

Now I tried with the same keyboard and same MIDI/USB connecting cable, but with Musescore 0.9.6.3 révision 3507 under Windows 7, and Musescore doesn't "see" the keyboard. The I/O tab is attached.

Could someone have an idea if the problem comes from to the version of Mscore or to some inability of Windows seven?

Thanks

PS I could also test the windows machine by installing Ubuntu on it.....

using PortAudio Version: PortAudio V19-devel (built Aug 3 2010 05:16:18)
connect to midi input "Midi Through Port-0"

I only get the "connect midi input" if

- no jackd is used at all, meaning that I loose MIDI out
- Portaudio option with ALSA is set as output sound

any other combination does not arise the midi input
