Playback only selected staves

Does anyone know how to get musescore to playback only those staves that are selected? There is a similar feature in Sibelius which is very useful (particularly when dealing with scores for many instruments). I'm aware of the mixer functionality but this is not very user friendly compared to simple selection of the staves.

The Mixer's Solo/Mute controls are the only way to do this currently. For what it's worth, there are plans afoot to redesign the Mixer and make it more user-friendly.
