Thank you, it worked!
However, there is a bug: If the new cross-clef eighth note is a second above (and I presume below as well) a regular note in the Bass clef, they are not aligned like a second, i.e. the top note off center like this:

Click on the note, open Inspector and adjust it might be the answer?
