Display Issues
Has anyone run into the a vertical line display issue? It seems to occur only on longer scores. See the attached image. I am running Musescore 0.9.6.3 on Ubuntu 10.10 on a Macbook 2,1.

As a work-around I would remove that bar (and others previous to it, one by one) until the problem disappeared. It is easy to insert replacement bars.

Thank you for the very speedy response. It seems to have cleared the issue for the time being.

Do you have a backup copy that you could share? Can you remember what you were doing when the glitch showed up? It is obvious that you have triggered a bug and I know the developers would love to have help in tracking it down.

Unfortunately, having fixed the program, I got rid of the old file. I can say that I was just working several bars further along when suddenly the glitch began to occur. Playback was fine though and would temporarily fix the display issue while running. Stopping the playback would make it re-appear. Interestingly, while I now work mostly in Ubuntu, I tried it under mac os 10.6.5. I was able to work on subsequent bars but as I would compose, the vertical program would progressively started spreading to the right. After ten moves (inserting notes, adjusting rhythms, changing accidentals etc...) in a subsequent section of music, I would generally have to restart the program as the vertical lines would have made it over to cover that section which I was working on.
