Restoring Toolbars after removing all
I use MuseScore for two different modes: as an editor, of course, but also as a MusicXML viewer. In optimizing it for the latter, I removed all of the toolbars. I then found that there doesn't seem to be a way of replacing them -- the area to right click on to restore them vanishes with the last toolbar. Doing a factory settings reset seems to be the only way to restore them. Is there a way to add the option to reset default toolbars to the View menu? It'd be great to be able to toggle back without a factory reset. Thanks!

It's a workaround for now but you can go to Display > Inspector, and then if the inspector is docked, right click the title (where it says Inspector) and you will get the contextual menu to add the toolbars back one by one.
In the future, I guess it would be great if toolbars and even toolbars configuration (which buttons they own) would be embedded in a Workspace.

Yes, to me, that would make multiple workspaces much more useful. Also things like whether secondary windows like the Inspector or Mixer are open.

Great! thanks for the fix. Even if it's a workaround, it's a better one than "downgrade your OS or don't use articulations" (which is the main reason MuseScore has become my primary editor...) :-)

I thought it was because it was good and open source ;) but I'm glad you can keep on using MuseScore even on MacOSX 10.11.2 beta then?

Well, there's what you wish you had started with and what you've been used to for the last 20 years. I'm moving slowly but surely :-) but I still like some of the competition also. It's good for the soul.
I love the finicky MusicXML messages of MuseScore -- the proposed solution is nearly always right, but MuseScore makes music21 better every time I get a warning. It's awesome.
