Stave with Beat Marks
In the Help section about Chord Symbols I see an example of a system generated by MS where the bars contain (4) oblique beat marks but I can't find how to get MS to generate such a blank system for me so that I can write chord names below the appropriate beat like in Guitar tab (and as shown in the Chord Symbols Help example).
Can anyone help me? And also how I set MS to place the chord names below the stave and not above it?
Many thanks.

By beat marks, I believe you mean slash notation.
One way is to place notes where you want the marks and then go to the notehead pallette and select the parallelogram. You can remove stems by right clicking.
See this https://musescore.org/en/handbook/tools (scroll down).
1) For the slashes: Edit -> Tools -> select a measure or more, and "Fill with slashes"
2) For the chords below the staff:
- Style -> General -> Chords symbols -> change "default vertical position" eg -7,50 (as the image below)
or
- open the Inspector, then right-click on a chord symbol -> Select -> All similar elements -> Change the vertical offset, eg 9.00 or 10.00 sp

Much better than mine. I am not really up on 2.0 as I have not been notating so much lately, and still use old methods.
