How can I tie 2 notes together to create one continuous sound in a recording, if at all?

In the attached music, is it possible to tie the last 2 notes together (both are F#s) to have 1 sound overall, instead of 2 sounds and/or a space? I've seen it done in other works, just don't know how. Thanks!
