Represent score in one line

• Nov 12, 2015 - 13:42

I would like to render a score (two pages long currently) in one line, by compressing everything as close as possible. (with equal width measures if possible).

The reason for this is that I want to display it under a graph to illustrate something.

Is there any way to currently do this in musescore?

Thanks!

Yes, there are ways, but the exact answer would depend on the specific score, so posting it would help.

In general, first make sure there are no line breaks that would prevent it from being represented on one line. Then try selecting the measures you want combined on one line and reducing stretch by pressing "{" one or more times to see if that allows them to fit. If it won't fit no matter how many times you press it, you'll need to change other setting, like simply making the staves smaller in Layout / Page Settings / Staff space.
