No text availieble !! And no midi korrespondance

Hello, my musicscore is a total mess.
The node-pages are doing unexpected things. No Keys etc. - only empty lines when i open a new doc.
I can´t add song texts titles etc. to exixting node - It is s if it doesnt import a font / text database.
I cant establish contact with my totally new usb keyboard ( m-audio ) that works fine in Garageband.

I have installed the 0.9.6.3 version - several times.
My system is mac. os X 10.6.3
Anyone with any ideas ?
