1503 Stops Responding while attempting to edit drum line.

• Feb 5, 2009 - 16:59

First, I'd like to say "Awesome" Software. I've been having a tremendous amount of fun creating scores for accompaniment when I want to play music. My latest creation is an arrangement of "Oye Como Va" by Tito Puente. I've been having issues editing the drum line. I've been able to add the bass drum and high hat. However, when I try to add the side rim shots the program stops responding and I have to shut it down. I've shut down my puter and rebooted several times but always run into this road block. I've attached the file for your perusal. And Thanks for the software.

I am unable to reproduce the problem you describe. Could you include more details including the exact steps you use to add the rim shots (are you using the mouse or MIDI keyboard, etc.)

I downloaded the released version 1518 and can't seem to reproduce this issue now either. I've finished the score hammering at it until it submitted, lol. However, it was relatively simple to recreate. Click on one of the high hat notes, then click a different voice (1, 2, 3, or 4), then click value of note (1/4, 1/8, etc), then click "N", select a drum sound (i.e., acoustic bass, etc) and finally place it where it is should be on the staff. All in all, this is still an awesome program. Thank you to the programmers that have put in so much work and sweat on this software.
