Volta 3 repeats
I'm using musescore 0.9.6.3 revision 3507
I haven't had music training so I'm learning the hard way. My challenge is I have a hymn that has one measure to end the first 3 verses then several other measures for the final ending. From the on-line instructions, videos and forum I learned to use volta and repeats. But I get odd repeats. I'm attaching a simple 4 measure piece to demo. Here is what I expect:
To play measures:
1 - 2 - 3
1 - 2 - 3
1 - 2 - 3
1 - 2 - 4
What I get is:
1 - 2 - 3
1 - 2 - 4
2 - 4
What did I do wrong? If I knew more I would want to blame a bug.
p.s. MuseScore is our Sunday music since our pianist retired in November (she is mid-80s)

You can put a volta on the 3rd mesure and change his repeat list to 1, 2, 3 and another volta on the last measure with a repeat list of 4. Then right click on the 3rd measure and change the repeat count to 4.

Where I was loosing it was the syntax of 1,2,3. 1.2.3 and 1-3 etc never worked. I guess I was thrown by the label of 1. 2. 3. but the volta properties Repeat List needed 1, 2, 3

Thank you as well. I tried changing repeat list on volta, but didn't work. Did not think of changing measure repeat as well though

Best way is to attache the corresponding score. Did you also adjust the play count with right click->measure properties...?
Edit: Seems you did it and it works now.
