Midi input
After reading the handbook and watching various tutorials, I know how to hook up a Midi keyboard, but the keyboard that I am trying to hook up does not show on the drop-down menu on the I/O section of Preferences. If it helps, the keyboard that I am using is a Casio Privia PX-130 with a USB mode, of which I have tried with it both on and off. Any suggestions?

What OS (operating system)?
What version of MuseScore?
If using Microsoft Windows, when you attach the USB cable or turn your Casio on, do you get a sound or taskbar notification as verification of the connection?
Can you play your Casio through your computer speakers or into other apps?

and be sure you have your midi keyboard connected and turned on, THEN start MuseScore.
