'Append measures' does not create new measure with proper time signature

• Dec 16, 2015 - 23:39

Working on a piece in 4/2, I came up against the end of the piece two measures short, so I clicked ADD>Measures>Append Measures>___ and entered '2' in the dialogue box. Two measures were added, but they are in 2/2 and I had to adjust them manually to 4/2.

Could this be because the initial time signature of the piece is in 'cut time' (barred C), even though I created a new time signature in 4/2 that shows the barred C symbol? I added a numerical 4/2 time signature after the incipit. Here's what it looks like:

The usual questions apply here - which OS, which version of MuseScore and can you please attach the file as this will give others the best chance of solving the problem.

I'm on Win7 pro; 2.0.1; and I could attach a blanked version of the score, however the anomoly seems to have vanished. When I checked the properties of those last two measures prior to uploading the score, the 'nominal' time signature now shows what it should (but didn't) show: 4/2.

Curiouser and Curiouser, as Alice said....
