Repeat Problem
I put an end-start repeat barline in one of my measures, and a start repeat barline in another. Instead of repeating separate measures, when it hits the end-start repeat barline it goes back to the start repeat barline. If you get what I'm saying then look at the attachment.

So it plays measure 1-23, then jumps back to 17, plays 17-27, jumps back to 24 and plays till the end?
If so it does exactly what those repeat barlines tell it to do.
And I have no idea what you mean by repeating separate measures
If you want 17-23 to be played 5 ties, right-click into the mores that eds with that start-end repear, measure propertes and bump up the repeat count to 5. The staff text alone would be good enough for the musicians, but isn't for MuseScore's playback.

Measure 24 and 27 needs to repeat 4 times, but instead when it hits Measure 27 it goes back to Measure 17.

I see, you somehow managed to have an end repeat and a start-end repeat at the same spot, deleting the start-end repeat showed it. Deleting that too and adding back the end-start repeat fixed it, check the attached

The measure numbering seems off:
Counting the measures shows from #17 (Pizz) to #21 (Arco) at the end of the staff. The next staff begins with #21 - why is that?
