Splitting double note into two measures.

• Dec 24, 2015 - 22:15

Hi. I have problem, and i dont know how to fix it. I want to split the "Double note" (I dont know exactly how it's named) into two different measures. Problem is, thesen notes are in same voice. Any Ideas? Here's picture of that note: http://s1.postimg.org/y8nlr4ikf/grehjdgj.png

Welcome aboard...
Your picture doesn't show clearly what you wish to do. Is the "Double note" you are referring to the beamed eighth notes? ...or one of the other two quarter note octaves?
Posting a MuseScore file with a full explanation of what you wish to notate is the best way forward.

If you haven't yet created a MuseScore file and still wish to use an image, you should annotate it in a graphics editor (in Windows, use something like Paint) and circle the relevant notes, add explanatory text, etc.

Regards.

Well, 2 saxes can, and you could notate 2 saxes in one staff, using voices.
So select all the lower notes and press the voice 2 button.
You could then cut voice 2 (using the secltion filter) into a different staff, then swap voice 1 and to there, then delete all the remaning voice 2 rests.
Hmm, you could also use Edit → Tools → Explode
