how transpose the first few measures of score
When I select a few measures at the beginning of
a score in MuseScore 2.0.2 on Windows 10 and
use notes-transpose by key, the key signature at
every line in the whole score changes.
That doesn't seem correct.

If the initial key signature is part of the selection, it will be transposed. If you don't want that to happen, then uncheck the option to transpose key signatures. If that doesn't answer your question, please post the score you are having problems and describe in more detail what you are wanting to make happen.
