Crotales Soundfont??

I was just wondering if anyone knew where I could find a Crotales soundfont. Anyone who's heard the default setting knows why.

You're in luck :)

The University of Iowa had a set of crotales samples available.

So here is something for you to look at. It is still in beta so don't be surprised if it doesn't work the way you expect :)

Just click on the link to download a zip file containing the soundfont and licensing information.

Unzip the SF2 file into you soundfonts folder and then follow the handbook procedure to install it in MuseScore.

There is only a limited range - C6 to C8 so don't expect it to work outside the normal croales range.

Once we've ironed out any kinks we can think about incorporating it into the default soundfont.
