Chord Name Style

• Feb 21, 2011 - 22:55

Windows XP
Musescore version 0.9.6 and 1.0 (0.9.5 did not have this bug)

Suppose I have a score, and I add some Chord Names (A, B, C in the example attached).
Then I enter Style | Edit Text Style, because I want to change the Chord Name font or the position of the Chord Names (the offset by default is -4.00 but I want it to be -2.00).
The changes does not apply to the Chords already inserted (A, B, C) but only to the chord that I will add afterwords (D, E, F in the attached example).

This creates scores with chords in different styles, and does not allow to change and adjust the chords already added, which sometimes can be very useful.
Version 0.9.5 was not affected by this problem, and any changes in Style were applied to all the chords.

Thanks in advance and kind regards,
Paolo Balducci

I noticed that if I save, close and reopen the file, the Style changes are applied.
Therefore it is only a problem of refresh. Neither with "apply" nor with "ok" the changes are refreshed.
Only if I save and re-open the file.

Additionally, if I select one or more Chord Names and I click on the right button of the mouse and I select "Text Properties", I enter the text dialogue.
If I set a change (for example Arial instead of Times), and I exit with OK, then the chord names which had been selected disappear.
If I save, close and reopen the file, the chord names appear again, but they have not assumed the changes (they keep Times font).
Kind regards,
Paolo
