Program crash when I try to go to 2nd layer

• Mar 12, 2011 - 23:43

Copying Max Reger's contribution to study of modulation. Modulation from C to Bbb major and to a minor. After copy the voices of layer 1 (blue) and changing to layer 2 (green) program crashed. Last example of the file attached. The music has a lot of double flats.
Win XP, MuseScore 1.0

I opened your file copied two measures, pasted them and clicked on the voice 2 button. I didn't get a crash.

Please give steps-by-step instructions for reproducing the crash.

(Tested using MuseScore 1.0, Windows 7)

1) I input the notes of voice 1 treble clef
2) I input the notes of voice 2 treble clef
3) I input the notes of voice 1 bass clef
AfterI input the tie of last note, I go to second voice (green) to input the notes of
voice 2.
4) When I touch the green square then the progam crashed twice.
Often it happened when music has one of the following alterations:
B or E sharp,or any note with double sharps or double flats.

I tried the following steps:

  1. Created a new piano score
  2. Treble clef, measure 1, voice 1, inputted four quarter notes
  3. Treble clef, measure 1, voice 2, inputted four quarter notes
  4. Bass clef, measure 1, voice 1, inputted three quarter notes
  5. Pressed + to tie the third quarter note to a fourth
  6. Clicked on voice 2 button

I didn't get a crash. Maybe I am doing something differently from you? Maybe you can share a screencast of you reproducing the crash. Maybe someone on the forum will notice something critical.
