MIDI klawerbord
Die maklikste manier om drom notasies by 'n musiek stelsel te voeg is met gebruik van 'n MIDI klawerbord. Meeste MIDI klawerborde beskik oor slag simbole of merke bo elke sleutel. Wanneer die sleutel vir "high hat" gedruk word sal MuseScore die korrekte notasie byvoeg. MuseScore sal outomaties die rigting van die noot-streep bepaal asook die korrekte noot-kop invoeg.
The easiest way to add drum notation to your score is via MIDI keyboard. Most MIDI keyboard have percussion markings above each key. If you press the key for high hat then MuseScore will add the correct notation to the score. MuseScore automatically takes care of the stem direction and type of note head.

Noot invoer via muis is beskikbaar vanaf weergawe 0.9.4
- Kies 'n noot of rus in the slag staaf. Dit sal die ooreenstemmende drom pallet laai.
- Druk "N" om die noot byvoegging te begin
- Kies 'n noot lengte / maar vanaf die Note Invoer toolbar
- Kies a tipe noot (soos 'n bas drom of snaar) van die drom [[nodetitle:pallet]]
- Kliek on die slag staaf om die noot by te voeg by die musiek notasie.
