Things I missed in the Beta for 2.0
I have now tried out the first Beta for 2.0, and I am happy for the new features. However, there are some features I miss from the 1.3 version:
1) I miss the option to change values of a single note manually. For instance, I miss making notes invisible, changing the distance between notes and changing the dynamics. For dynamics, I would appreciate if someone could find out how to change the dynamics where for the dynamics marks as well.
2) I miss the shortcut for dynamics (l) (that only that section opens), and I do not find the crescendo or diminuendo mark.
3) When I notated with my symphony template and clicked on notes I had put in for
instruments bellow the top, the screen moved to the top so that I all the time have to scroll downwards every time I want to adjust a single note which is at the bottom.
4) I cannot drag more than one note at a time upwards and downwards.
Comments
1a) select note, hit 'v' or use the Inspector (F8) (it was right click, make invislible before)
2) crescendo and diminuento are a) on shortcuts < and > (was h and H before) and b) in the Lines Palette (been there ever since)
4) select a range and use the arrow keys to move up and down (been that way ever since

Thank you very much for your answers! About crescendo and diminuendo, I did not mean the hairpins, but the text itself. In 1.3 there was an option where those two were along with f, fp, p, etc.

On the palette, you mean? You can customize the palette - use Edit / Workspaces to create a workspace where you can customize palettes, then Shift+Ctrl+drag anything you like into the palette. One of the great new features of 2.0 (although 1.3 did have some undocumented customization possibilities as well).
#3 is a known bug tht should hopefully be fixed before the next beta, whenever that turns out to be.
