The attached file is 0 bytes, which means it's empty. Can you check whether this is also the case for your local file?
If so, is there something special you could think of you did when making this score?
Same thing happened to me. I've been working on a score for about 2 weeks, I saved a file last night and this morning it wont open. Is there any way i can recover this file or open it?

If autosave is on, check your session directory.
Depending on your operating system, your session directory is :
Windows Vista or later: C:\Users\\AppData\Local\MusE\MuseScore\
Windows XP or earlier: C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Local Settings\Application Data\MusE\
MacOSX : ~/Library/Application Support/MusE/MuseScore/

Where would i put my session directory to restore my file?
I'm new to Musescore.

In the session directory, there should be a lot of mscz files. Check the last ones.

When I try opening the file, this error message appears:

failed: Bad file descriptor
