Nightly r3478 - Constant Crashes
I tried running r3478 on my Windows 64-bit Vista laptop (just to see what was up with 0.9.7!). It would open and run, but if I loaded an existing score, it would crash. I tried creating a new score from scratch, and I got to the end of the score setup and it crashed again. Can't seem to do anything without a crash.

I'm not able to reproduce the crashes you are describing.
I can create and open scores using nightly r. 3478 on Windows 7 (64-bit).
Could you attach a minimal score so the problem can be reproduced & fixed?
I could attach a score, but it doesn't matter, it's any one - one created with 0.9.6.2 or one I try to create new. It crashes at the end of the wizard (without even creating the new score).
Again, this is on Windows Vista 64-bit laptop.

I tried this on my Windows XP work desktop just now, and I was able to create a new score, but when I tried to save it, add notes, etc., it crashed. When I opened an existing score, it immediately crashes with a "Runtime Error" on Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library.

Note editing and save also works for me without a problem.
Have you tried using

Not yet, been busy, but I'll try that.
