Grand staff is suddenly locked to only one staff during Note Entry
v0.9.6.3
Mac OS X 10.4
I'm working on a marimba composition that uses a grand staff. I was playing with keyboard shortcuts and managed to isolate the arrow-playback feature (used during Note Entry) to only one staff at a time. I can see the blue vertical bar highlighting either the upper or lower staff as I click in one or the other, but it won't play both at the same time.
Previously, when I used the left & right arrows to move forward and backward through the piece, it jumped staves as necessary to play back all notes. It seems as if the staves have become decoupled during Note Entry.
NOTE: During playback, both staves are played correctly.
I assume this is some setting I accidentally toggled, but I can't find any reference to it in the manual or forum. Suggestions?
Many thanks in advance...

As far as I'm aware, using left and right arrows during note entry is always limited to one staff.

Thanks, you're correct. I discovered the reason for my confusion: I had staff-shifted large groups of notes. When you do that and then arrow through playback, shifted notes retain their original staff assignment for arrow navigation purposes (and thus, sound when you arrow across them). I had just gotten used to arrows following notes across both staves, not realizing that I had caused that behavior inadvertantly.

Good to know what caused the confusion.
Thanks for sharing.
