Keyboard Preference
If you have a UK or US (or indeed anywhere else) keyboard, could you implement a Keyboard Preference (within preferences)?
A few shortcuts haven't worked and I just thought it could be a good idea to solve likely on-going issues.

Zoom In (out is fine) is one so far.

Pressing + works for me.
Maybe you mean that you wish it said "Shift+=" instead of just "+" for people using US or UK keyboards?

I'm using Mac - sorry.
Plus works when you press shift and apple together.

Sorry, I forgot to mention the Ctrl key (Command key on Mac) is also needed to zoom.
You wish it would say Ctrl+Shift+= (Mac: ⌘ Shift =) instead of Ctrl++ (Mac: ⌘ +)?

What about changing it entirely to Apple + (if nothing else occupies it)? It could be counterpart to Apple -.
If something does occupy it, would there be a difference in having it: Ctrl Shift + (instead of Ctrl Shirt =)?

In current versions of MuseScore Zoom in is already Apple + (its just that you have to press Shift to get a plus sign on US/UK keyboards), right?

Think so, yeah.
It does say Apple + in the menu, I just wish it would also mention the shift (or remove that key).
