Not able to set tempo..

Env. Mac OS X Lion 10.7.5 (11G63)
GIT commit: a925ae0

I am not able to drag a temp from the palette to the score.
If I drag the temp from the palette to the score just above (or on) the staff, it doesn't put anything there, but just jumps back to the palette.

Am I doing something wrong here?
