Something that I would find very useful is a way to remove stems from a group of notes rather than one at a time.
Thank you.

I would like to add to that, the ability to make notes small or invisible as a group, rather than one at a time. Selecting each note of a lengthy cadenza to make it small can be rather tedious.
In reply to add to that.... by MDMilford
I guess what we are talking about is some way to "lasso" a group of notes and then do a group alteration. There are numerous ways that this would be useful. One way to do this, perhaps, (note to programmers - I have no knowledge of what your challanges are) is to hold another key down qhile lassoing the group of notes. Even selecting at the start and at the end gets tedious after a while, and a reduction in key strokes and mouse clicks is alway welcome.
Best regards.

You can already lasso a group of notes. Move your mouse pointer outside of the staff, hold down Shift, click and drag.

sure you can lasso the notes, but you can't change any of the note properties, ie. removing stems, making invisible, or small. I think what we're asking about is more, is the ability to use these options when multiple notes are selected.
In reply to it doesn't seem to work that way... by MDMilford
Correct. You can add articulations to a group of notes (by double clicking on the palette) or copy and paste. But it would be nice if this worked with note properties.
The comment was intended for Xavierjazz who seemed to be tired with clicking the start and last notes for a selection.

Well, actually, I would gladly give up the lasso for global adjustments such as MDMilford postulates.
Its not only the selecting that is a bit tiresome but the fact that it needs to be done so often,
:-)

What is ujhkv? DO I actually have to hold down 5 keys and the mouse switch to lasso?
Best regards,

David wrote 'shift' which you happen to read as 'ujhkv'. Could you make a screen shot how you see those characters? It intrigues me.
In reply to shift instead of ujhkv by Thomas
Did you look at his comment? I am not on my computer now, (Win) but on a friends Apple. Maybe????
I will make a screen shot later, if I still see that on my computer,
Regards.
In reply to shift instead of ujhkv by Thomas
Well, on my win computer, shift is the word. I guess its something to do with the other computer being an apple.

What kind of Apple? Was the browser Safari? Some of the older versions of Safari are not very good (pre-3.0).
In reply to What kind of Apple? Was it by David Bolton
Yes, the browser was safari.
